My Golden Globe Predictions

golden_globe.jpg
I love award shows, and the Globes are one of my favorites because the actors get to drink, which causes them to say bizarre things instead of the usual scripted banter. And this year Cher has a nominated movie, so there’s a chance we’ll see an outfit that’s a little off-center.

Haha, can I put my money on that? After your prediction with Soriano, maybe you ARE psychic? =)
Unfortunately I have only seen “Inception” and “Alice in Wonderland”, so I can’t make any predictions myself.

Looks like I have a lot of movie watching to do to catch up. Really want to see The Fighter. I’m a huge Bale fan….despite his cranky mood swings.

I think the Soriano prediction was a fluke, Nadine. LOL. But I’m lucky to have seen the majority of the movies this year. It was a great crop in my opinion – plenty for all tastes.

I think Bale will win, Jeff, but I’ve heard nothing but what a rotten guy he is. Just got an email from a friend whose neighbor in LA has been in a fight with him for years over a fence he put up. He’s ornery and self-centered, but he sure is great in The Fighter.

Isn’t Ricky Gervais hosting? That’s the only reason I’d consider watching. I hate awards shows.

Jane: I love Natalie Portman…and OMG I loooove Johnny Depp too….

Yes, he is hosting, Paul. So it could be fun. Or not. One thing’s for sure: it will be looooong.

I assume both will be there tonight, Virginia, so you should enjoy the show. Well, I know Natalie Portman will be there. Johnny Depp? Who knows.
